Obituary for Artie Williams

Harmon A. “Artie” Williams, 49, of Dawsonville passed away on August 29, 2021 at home, after a long battle with diabetes and kidney failure surrounded by his loving wife.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of Betty Alexander and the late Harmon Williams Sr. He’s predeceased by son, Adam Ray Williams. His life’s greatest loves were his family and his faith. Artie leaves behind his most devoted wife of 23 years, Diana Williams (Wolf), and sons, Neil Williams (Brittanny) and children Sawyer, Emerson and Hayden; and Artie (AJ) Williams (Alyssa) and child Riley Ray and stepson Christopher (Mikaela) Chadwick. He leaves brother Alvin (Angela) Williams and children Makayla, Makenna, Dakota and Daytona. He also leaves behind his Aunt Marie and Aunt Rita, and Aunt Susan on his dad's side; along with many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, in-laws, cousins, friends.

Artie enjoyed his work and position as Director of CIPP operations and was dedicated to (RGI) the Renee Group Inc, Atlanta GA and was instrumental in the construction utility field.

Artie loved riding dirt bikes and now he’s riding high in the sky.

A celebration of Artie’s life will be held at a later date when gathering restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, donations and condolences can be made at 262 Hillside Dr, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
