Dolores Jeanne Worthey Stender, age 86 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. Born in Champaign, Illinois on March 7, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Herschel Ray Worthey, Sr. and Geneva Fern Hites Worthey. Mrs. Stender was a homemaker and member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, word finds, reading, but most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Stender; son, Danny Lynn Cade; son-in-law, Marvin D. Evans. Surviving are daughter, Linda Evans of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Connie & Tim Holland of Braselton; siblings, Eddie Worthey of Covington and Ray Worthey of Moultrie; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services are 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Dewberry Baptist Church #1, 4616 Clarks Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506 with Rev. Brad Reynolds officiating.
