Obituary for Jessie McConnell
Jessie Rebecca Ansley McConnell, age 84 of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at her residence.
Born in Habersham County on April 14, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Ansley and Pauline Swafford Ansley. Mrs. McConnell was a homemaker and member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank James McConnell; son, Keith McConnell; siblings, Stanley Ansley, Everett Ansley, and Juanita Ansley.
Surviving are son, Kim McConnell of Mt. Airy; daughters, Sherry Fortner and Susie Thomas both of Alto; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Imogene McConnell and Martha Ann Allen both of Mt. Airy.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 200 Flower Hill Drive, Mt. Airy, GA 30563.
