The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ginger Quinn can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Charles Massingale
Condolence: This came from my mother's funeral some 25 years ago. It helped me then and I hope it will be of some comfort to you now.

Here we were in the Living Room,
All of our loving group together,
And the glow of the wood-fire's warm perfume,
Bathed the chill of the outer weather,
And then, with a sleepy sign, you said,
"Good night, dear ones, I'm going to bed."

Why did there fall such a sense of gloom?
Why did we sob at the thought of sleep?
When one goes out of the Living Room,
Must all the rest of the family weep?
When the work is done and the day is sped,
Is it not time for the restful bed?

Because you are gone from the warmth and light,
And stepped aside from the fire-lit glow,
Because you have kissed us all good night,
Why must we sorrow and murmur so?
Why do we call the couch a tomb
Beyond the door of the Living Room?

Sleep well, Ginger. We'll all see you soon.

Condolence: Dear Mimi and family,
I wish to express my condolences on Ginger's going home. mom called and afterwards a flood of memories came back if my childhood and both if out families. I remember singing and dancing with Ginger on the steps of our Cleveland house when we were little. I was so happy when I heard that she spent life singing and praising The Lord.though I haven't seen her in years, the news struck a chord in my heart. I take solace in the fact that while heaven may be future for us, it is present tense for Ginger. my family sends their love. Bill and Tina Burdette
