Obituary for Julian Rufus Dunagan

Julian Rufus Dunagan, age 75 of Braselton, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Rome, Georgia on January 21, 1941, he was a son of the late William Clarence Dunagan and Lois Viola Peace Dunagan. Mr. Dunagan was a former welder and fabricator who enjoyed outdoor sports and NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunagan was preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde, Steve, and Charles Dunagan; sisters, Arlene Jarrard and Billie Nell Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Watkins Dunagan of Danielsville; daughter, Donna Hudgins of Demorest; sons, Ricky Dunagan of Braselton, John Dunagan and Barry Dunagan both of Atlanta; sister, Carolyn Garrett of Pendergrass; nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
