Obituary for Mable Hefner Stephens

Mable Hefner Stephens, age 73 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016.
Born in Mt. Airy, Georgia on November 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Edward L. “Dick” Hefner and Emma Lou Harris Hefner Jones. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by grandson, William Stephens; sisters, Maxine Hefner and Jimmie Lou Hendrixson; brother, Henry Hefner.
She is survived by son, Mark Stephens of Carnesville; daughters and son-in-law, Lavelle Stephens of Carnesville, Angela and David Loudermilk of Mt. Airy and Lujean Brady of Westminister, South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Glenda Hefner of Mt. Airy; sister, Frances Stagner of Mt. Airy; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date
